Hideaway Bar and Grill in Oconomowoc

Awesome place. Good food and friendly people. The bartenders r great. I went there to see if one person was working. But not. I haven't seen her in about 30years. Hay it's still is a great place to visit .

Food was slow servers were great I'll give it a three and a half

Kind of a long wait for a salad but it was the best chicken Caesar I have ever had so there ya go.

Beautiful spot on deck spoiled by workmen installing decorative lights. Their noise and cigar smoke completely trashed what was already mediocre food. Won't be back.

The only way I would come back is mama blue!!! She was our waitress and was wonderful!! Also shoutout to the girl that didn’t even work there and brought us our menus!! We almost left. These 2 ladies were wonderful!!

Love the location and the philly cheesesteak is great. I usually go here for drinks in the evening

Everything was pretty good. Service was a bit slow but the waitress was friendly. We tried the buffalo wings, reubens, patty melt, grilled chicken wand cheese curds. No complaints.

Been here once with my significant other and our friend, too of the line burgers I would say, the environment does change accordingly to who is in the bar at the time and I find that outstanding. The bartender that we met ( most Friendly-est woman I've met, long blonde hair) was more welcoming then ever. She took our order had a full conversation with us l, actually getting to know us not just a fluff conversation, as well as the chef who made our food (they both were so nice and treated us like family and it was our first time there. Every person sitting at the bar was nice as well, one guy even showed us how to play a game where you lay down straws on the bar top. You can step outside if your smoke or vape without any looks from the staff or other customers. This place may be hidden but one of the best bars I've been to. If you aren't from the area it may be a little hard to find but would highly recommend stopping in for a friendly hello and an amazing meal!

Hideaway is just that. Be patient, it's busy for a reason, because its the best spot on the lake. Good local grub. Nothing fancy, but just darn right yummy. ;).

Waitstaff is nice, place is nice, food is slightly above average....fun time... IF THEY ARE BUSY HOWEVER BE PREPARED TO WAIT FOR A LONG TIME FOR FOODAND DRINKS... KITCHEN IS WAY UNDERSIZED. Waitstaff needs to be upfront and accurate with wait times for food.

On a beautiful holiday weekend, after a motorcycle ride on some fantastic rustic roads, we end up at the Hideaway for dinner. We sat down and waited more than 30 minutes to be acknowledged. It continued to get worse from there - portions of our food order came out wrong and drinks came out extra late, if at all. To top it off, everyone that had any authority was “away for the holiday” so we couldn’t even talk to anyone.Note: I gave ⭐️⭐️ because with everything going on, our server still took care of us! She was awesome and we compensated her nicely 👍🏽

Hideaway was wonderful, the food and servers were a delight. The only thing that brings this rating down was some manager (Kelli)?? Wjo was the rudest staff there, I heard her talkign down to her own servers, and looked like she was pawing off work in every one else. She rushed me and my family through our meal and I felt welcomed by everyone else. Thank you hideaway

Awesome bartenders and good food. Expect a small town dive bar feel with quality service. On the lake for docking and in the winter a great place to take your ATV when you want a break from driving around on the ice. They also allow you to rent a slip for your boat here, which is a nice feature.

We were here a few weeks ago for the AUCE crab legs and they were fantastic! We wanted to go again tonight with a party of about ten, but I heard they are closed for renovations, is that true?

We showed up at 12noon on a Saturday looking forward to having lunch by the lake...but we could only order breakfast and couldn't get lunch until 1pm.... FRUSTRATING... why not Breakfast AND Lunch from 11:30am until 1...

The food's OK, but the customer service during the week was just bad. The only thing that makes up for it was their overall atmosphere with both the lake view, and the them allowing dogs outside.

Great bar, great location sitting on Okauchee Lake. Staff there always friendly and cordial. Sergio (chef) does a FANTASTIC job turning out great food from the limited kitchen space he has to work in/with. Breakfasts on weekends are excellent, Bloody Mary bar in summertime at breakfast is a treat too. Recent expansion/remodeling signicantly improved things for them.

The bigger bartender lady was absolutely rude... if you dont like your job you dont belong in service... her attitude was insulting I will not be going back

Our meals were great!! Both the grilled and fried chicken sandwiches and the side salads were BIG!! Also very fresh.

The service was terrible. Waitress had to be asked to take our drink orders, which were diet freaking cokes. Steak tacos were cold. And they charged for refill on our Diet Cokes. 12 dollars for 2 plastic cups of Diet Coke. Would have loved to have ordered actual drinks but watching everyone else walk up to the bar to get their own drinks because the service was so terrible stopped me.

This is a fun place, service was exceptional!!! My waitress Michelle was alot of fun, full of energy and very efficient!!! Definitely going back!!!!
